An intimate series of oil paintings that portray a selection of close friends. The background, showing a recycled canvas of one of my father´s paintings, was the key element that brought forth, with the use of Ciaroscuro and a limited palette, a focus on the quality and subtleties of skin, as well as a a dark and contrasted lighting.
