This body of work explores a psychological theme that arises constantly in human history and myth: Passion and Temperance. I play with this polarity through portraits of muses and friends that include elements -objects and colors- that hint at different aspects of the theme; The wolf , the doll, the chains, the play of red and blue. At times, the subjects represent themselves and at others they manifest a tarot archetype, a catholic mystic or a mythological figure, such as the Hangman, Saint Catherine of Siros and Cronos.
