Reddish orange mineral pigment with terracotta tones, derived from natural iron oxide deposits in the Mixtec Sierra of Puebla.
Although this pigment shares the colour of traditional burnt sienna, it has not undergone the characteristic calcining process with which it has historically been obtained.
Can be used in combination with any binder.
