Watercolor made with a dark, warm brown mineral pigment from natural iron oxide deposits in the Mixtec Sierra of Puebla.

 Although this pigment shares the color of traditional burnt umber, it has not undergone the characteristic calcining process with which it has historically been obtained.

 *It is normal for there to be a slight separation between the pigment and the binder, this is because our paints are manufactured without fillers or additives. It does not affect the quality of the paint at all.
